To accommodate for growth the school began construction of second building on the same property in 2006. The green building was completed in spring 2007 to accommodate the kindergarten department and provide additional meeting room, classrooms, and storage space. A new play area and parking lot were also part of this phase of development. AIS features clean, bright, well-lit classrooms constructed in a modern style. Spaces for reading, studying, playing and storing materials are incorporated into each classroom. Multipurpose rooms are used to accommodates classes such as art, Bible, reading, and Japanese culture.
